Paul Nicholson was a Choral Scholar at King’s College Cambridge and subsequently became a member of the Choir of the Chapels Royal, HM Tower of London. Alongside singing with a number of London professional choirs, he was General Manager of Polyphony and of a specialist TV and film choir with whom he recorded for the BBC and others.
Following a period at the Royal College of Music working in outreach as Head of Business and Community Services, he became the founding General Manager of Southbank Sinfonia, helping to establish it as a groundbreaking orchestral academy for talented young musicians. With Rachel Proud he founded Nicholson Proud Ltd which managed concerts and tours for a number of organisations including the Parliament Choir and, for ten years, the Christmas Festival at St John’s Smith Square. He is now Head of the Chapel and Music Office at Trinity College Cambridge.
