Welcome to KJV Community Children’s Choir!
We are a UK Saturday morning community choir for Cambridge children which rehearses at King’s College School Hall on West Rd. Participation is free and non-auditioned for children in school years 2-6 in Roos & Kangas.
For our teenage groups, there is a small termly fee of £44 and membership is by invitation or audition. There is no charge for children in receipt of free school meals. See our rehearsal page for further details
There are 5 choirs
- The Roos free for years 2-4 led by Rebecca Moulton
- The Kangas free for years 5-6, led by Lynette Alcántara
- The Robins* for years 7-9 treble voices, led by Lynette Alcántara
- The Chameleons* is a cambiata choir for boys with changing/recently changed voices, led by Owen Elsley.
- KJV Youth Choir*(new in autumn 2024) led by Lynette Alcántara and Owen Elsley for SATB singers in years 10-13.
*There is a small termly fee of £44 for Robins, Chameleons and Youth Choir.
We celebrated our fifteenth anniversary during 2023 and hope to see you at one of our concerts.
