KJV is saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, may she rest in peace.

Welcome to KJV Community Children’s Choir (formerly King’s Junior Voices)! We are a free, non-auditioned Saturday morning choir for Cambridge children aged 7-13, which usually meets from 10.30am-12.00 in King’s College School Hall, conducted by Lynette Alcántara.

During the COVID-19 pandemic KJV quickly adapted to rehearsals via video conferencing software (it hasn’t missed a week!). As restrictions eased KJV held blended rehearsals, with part of the choir singing together live in King’s College School Hall and part of the choir participating over Zoom. We are now back to regular face-to-face rehearsals.

Older members of the choir have the opportunity to continue until they are 16 (or for boys, until their voices change) in ‘The Robins’ our treble extension group. This group rehearses after the Kangas and there is a small termly fee and membership is by invitation or audition.

If your child is interested in joining please contact Maggie Heywood, KJV Administrator, by emailing maggie.heywood@kingsjuniorvoices.org
