Owen Elsley

Owen is a tenor from New South Wales, Australia. His passion for music was discovered at an early age where he played piano and trombone and sang and composed. After studying Physics and Mathematics at Sydney University, he came to Cambridge to study for an MMus in Choral Studies and to sing with King’s College Choir. He studies voice with David Lowe and Robert Rice. He is building his freelance career working for groups such as Voces8 (where he is a 21/22 Voces8 Scholar) and Les Arts Florissant. Recent Cambridge appearances include Marco in Cambridge University Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s recent production of The Gondoliers. In Australia, Owen worked for Sydney Children’s Choir and Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir.
